About Camilla
Kids and teens frequently join my studio to build a solid musical identity. Piano is a natural extension of my core work.
I hold a BMus degree from the Rice University Shepherd School. My transition into full-time teaching occurred after 13 years of performing in chamber ensembles. I am exacting. Music shapes my perspective.

Prior to starting, a diagnostic playing assessment helps us set a custom learning plan. Understanding your current hand position and pedalling technique allows me to build the right path forward. We examine classical repertoire alongside contemporary pop pieces. Grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity often requires specific memorisation techniques.
I emphasize rhythm and timing to ensure your playing sounds precise. Sight transposition is a skill I prioritize for students interested in accompaniment. I keep the process steady and focused.
