Perfect! Very kind and patient and most of all very excellent skill that helped me a lot in my journey to learn violin

Perfect! He is extremely kind and understanding while still clearly pushing me and encouraging and fostering progress that I would never be able to make on my own. He is also very flexible with scheduling around my sometimes chaotic life, so I’ve found him to be a really helpful teacher, especially since he has encouraged me to bring any and all of my questions to him, both in and out of our lessons. Awesome guy

Perfect! I can't recommend Joe highly enough! I'm an adult (46 yo) who returned to playing the violin after I quit at 18, and after so much time I needed some help getting back up to speed. In many ways I'm actually playing better now than I was in high school, and I attribute a lot of that to working with Joe. He's a great violinist himself and is very good at identifying what I'm doing wrong when I have trouble, and then explaining precise techniques that have helped me improve. Joe is extremely knowledgeable about music has a great temperament for teaching, as well - he's very calm, patient, and professional.

I'm also having more fun playing the violin working with Joe than I did back in the day. I'm not playing for school or a youth symphony or my parents; I'm playing because I simply love to play the violin, and that has opened up all kinds of possibilities for me. Joe has got me branching out into jazz, which I've always loved listening to but never imagined I could actually play, but he is walking me through the fundamentals, step by step, and it's awesome!
