About Zoe
I began taking dance classes at age 2; not because anyone told me to, but because it was where I belonged. I started dancing as soon as I could walk, replaying ballets on VHS over and over to learn the steps and feel the music before promptly being put into ballet classes, which I've continued to this day. I attended the School of American Ballet in NYC for 5 years while performing with the New York City Ballet.

I teach the Balanchine technique to aspiring ballerinas from ages 2-10. I enjoy focusing on the storytelling and expression elements that dance can bring to someone's life. Through this, I thoroughly enjoy bringing the beautiful technique that Balanchine created to the forefront of every class, without the pressure for perfection. Balanchine technique blends so much more than just technique; artistry, story, musical theatre, jazz, lyrical, ballroom, acting and more merge together to create something meaningful for every ballerina.
