About Emily
I am a dancer with a degree in psychology, and I have taught two years of dance. I have taught 30 students, and each have exceeded my expectations after I began teaching. My students have progressed in grades after working with them. I was classically trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary and ensemble.

I give lessons to those who are at the beginner/intermediate level. My techniques of instruction is very hands on. My students as well as myself have benefited from being shown the steps rather than simply told. My approach as a teacher is to provide positive feedback, and work with my student patiently until the combination is perfected. I also keep the experience as fun as possible, dance is supposed to bring joy!
