About Erica
I have my bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Sociology from Vanderbilt University and am headed to law school this fall. This will be my first time teaching guitar, but I have been playing for fifteen years and self-reliant for about eight years now. I have three years of K-12 public school substitute teaching experience as well as six years of nannying children, so I understand how to meet students where they are at.

We’ll start with the basics to provide you with a solid foundation - even if you already know how to read music or think you just want to rely on tablature. From the first few lessons you will be able to play classic songs like Yellow Submarine and Wonderwall. Then, I will tailor lessons to your musical preference, playing style, and end goals (do you want to play for a band? write your own songs? etc.)
