About Hannah
I received classical training for twelve years as a child, but I was not a very consistent student. I can however read and play the notes and tempos in piano scores and help you learn to do the same. I can also help you develop a basic understanding of sight-reading, help you learn to play a piano piece you enjoy (even without a score), or I can help you find inspiration to compose pieces yourself, help you transcribe your compositions, and we'll have a fun time doing it.

I base teaching off of your experience and learning style. If you learn best by ear, I can teach you to play what you hear. If you learn best by reading, I can teach you to read scores. If you learn best by seeing, I can show you how to play songs directly on the keys. With each of these modes of learning, we'll take it one step at a time and at your pace.
