About Oliva
Teaching philosophy relies on the idea that music happens when we listen deeply to the instrument. A diagnostic assessment occurs before we ever set a formal practice plan.
During these 6.0 hour sessions, we evaluate your current technical capabilities to determine the most effective path forward. I focus on steady progress rather than rushing through complex passages.
You might find that we spend significant time on subtle adjustments to posture and bow pressure. My 13 years of experience allows me to spot minor issues before they become major habits. Please reach out if you would like to begin.
