About Iris
Pacing matters more than speed during our initial sessions. Before we start, I perform a diagnostic level test to evaluate your foundations. We spend time on speaking confidence and listening comprehension. 13 years of experience inform how I address common hurdles for immigrants and absolute beginners.
Grammar is introduced in manageable chunks. You will find that our conversational fluency exercises grow more complex over time. I enjoy watching the transition from hesitation to clear expression. This journey remains the best part of my day.

Teaching is a craft I approach with calm precision. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in French and ESL from the University of Toronto.
366 students have passed through my classroom doors. My background includes living in Paris and working in English environments. I focus on vocabulary building and interview preparation.
