About Steven
I have been a practicing Physician Assistant for 10+ years. I have a Bachelors degree in Integrative Biology and a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Teaching patients is my favorite aspect of clinical practice. I enjoy breaking down complex medical information into simple concepts that my patients can understand and use immediately to improve their health.

I formerly taught undergraduate college courses in biology and anatomy/physiology. I recognize that I am not my student’s best or easiest-to-access source of factual information on a subject. Textbooks and e-learning resources serve that purpose. My role is to direct attention to the most relevant information on a subject, help define the scope of mastery for that subject, clarify difficult concepts and provide context for how these concepts can be applied to meet each individual's learning objectives - whether that be acing a test or preparing for a successful career.
