About Priya
With a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin and seven years of experience teaching coding to students aged 10 and up, I specialize in turning complex concepts into playful, confidence-building challenges. We’ll start by crafting small Python scripts—playing with variables, loops, and functions—to build a solid foundation. Next, we’ll dive into Java’s object‑oriented world, designing simple classes that bring ideas to life. You’ll channel your creativity by building mini‑games, then use SQL to store scores and query your own game database. To top it off, we’ll explore friendly AI concepts—like teaching a character to make decisions—using visual, kid‑friendly tools. Every lesson is project‑driven and hands‑on, so by the end of each session, you’ll have something real to show off and share.
