About Rivka
Teaching provides a way to simplify technical concepts after 13 years of shipping production code. I focus on SQL and databases, competitive programming, algorithms, clean code practices, and C++. My goal is to support students who think differently while maintaining a clear, practical approach to software engineering.
After completing App Academy and earning a BS in Mathematics, I bridge the gap between high-level logic and daily development. My neurodivergent-affirming style keeps the process grounded. You can expect a project-first environment where we prioritize how things actually function in a real production codebase.

Programming often feels overwhelming, but I actually enjoy the mess of debugging complex logic. Breaking down architecture into manageable segments helps keep the momentum going throughout our time together.
