About Alexander
My name is Alexander Sherzai! I am 19 years old and I am a soon-to-be Masters student in Data Science @ UCLA with plenty of experience in mathematics and programming. I graduated with honors with a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a minor in mathematics at California State University Los Angeles. I received A's in introductory Python and Java classes and all Calculus classes. I also received a perfect score on the Quantitative Reasoning section of the GRE. Over the past few years, I acquired experience applying my knowledge in these topics in both research and industry positions. I have experience tutoring biostatistics at the graduate level, and I hope to contribute to student success by personally connecting and exchanging knowledge. I hope to be able to guide anyone who seeks to learn more in these fields!

The most important aspect of life is connecting and exchanging knowledge. I hope to build a learning plan with students not through the implementation of a rigid system, but by getting to know them and understand what works for them.
This lesson applies to all levels of programming ranging from introductory level coding to advanced data structures and programming paradigms. We will adjust to the level that you are most comfortable at and move forward from there.
Remote video calls are preferred but if you are within 20 miles of the region depicted on my profile, we may coordinate a location to conduct the tutoring sessions.
