Retired from government service. Air Force veteran. Experience as programmer and manager in major intelligence agency. Taught as adjunct math instructor at local colleges. Have taught various courses from Algebra thru Calculus. B.S. Math and Masters in Computer Science.
Affinity for Algebra and teaching all aspects. Tend to concentrate on the concept, explain it, give examples and encourage students to participate. Provide homework to emphasize concepts and grade and provide feedback on homework. Test students on basic understanding and encourage their success through verbal feedback.
Taught various math courses as an adjunct, from Algebra thru Calculus. Prefer Algebra and ensuring students have a solid background in the fundamentals. Taught computer science classes in 1980's and taught more than 3 years at local colleges from 2011 thru 2013. And a course in 2016.
Don't know exact number of students, but probably in excess of 500.
Most students taught at Freshman level of college striving to achieve a solid foundation for later courses. In addition, I feel I have strong written skills as I have self-published eleven books. My goal is to help students learn and feel confident in mathematics.

I myself am an educator. I write on behalf of Ed as someone with college-level teaching experience. He also has many, many years experience in the private sector using mathematics and logic in his work for Wright Patterson Air Force base. (Top secret stuff!) But most importantly, Ed is a very compassionate individual who will work diligently and patiently to help his students learn.
