I graduated from Cinco Ranch High School and therefore know the rigors of KatyISD's curriculum. I am patient, a great listener, and am good at gauging where my students need help. I also believe practice is key in learning how to master math problems, so I like to give my students challenge problems. Background: I attended Texas A&M for 2 and a half years and studied petroleum engineering. I then transferred to Houston Baptist University to study applied mathematics.
I have been tutoring for 2 and a half years now. I've taught about 20 high school students, who have all seen an improvement in their math grades. My previous experience includes: one-on-one instruction with students, lesson preparation, reviewing concepts students have learned in school while challenging them with more difficult practice exercises, filing of session reports, scheduling and communication with parents, building relationships to positively impact students.
