About Patrick
Although I have never held an official tutoring position, I have informally tutored many of my peers during my years as a biology student. I have volunteered as an after-school homework aide at my local elementary school and loved the satisfaction I felt of being able to relieve the children of any stress they felt in attempting to complete their assignments. I was even able to get a few of the students to enjoy what they were learning. Overall, my experiences with tutoring have not always been easy, but I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing my compassion for maths and sciences with younger generations.

I am a third year Biology student studying at Salve Regina University. A major part of my curriculum at Salve requires deep understanding of sciences including chemistry, organic chemistry, advanced biochemistry and neuroscience as well as many mathematics such as physics. I have always done well in my maths and sciences and am enthusiastic about learning and teaching such topics! I hope to begin med-school after graduation and would love to be able to apply my education in a way that can benefit those in need in the future. For the time being, however, I would like to be able to use my skills to help children who are struggling with these subjects in school or those who share the same love as I do!

Patrick has always been the most responsible person in our friend group. He has always had a good head on his shoulders and knows how to keep his priorities straight. He has always been a kind, trustworthy and honest person. He has also always been one of my most intelligent friends, and is able to pickup new material easily and is good at explaining it to others. Being that I am also a biology student at Salve, he and I have had several classes together, and he has always gone the extra mile to help me understand material that I did by understand. He is also very patient! I don't doubt that he will make an excellent tutor!
