About Chelsea
Studying Psychology, Sociology, and minoring in Education at UC Berkeley, I have learned exactly how you can get into your dream school. After speaking with countless admissions officers, I have learned to break down their mindsets and thought processes as they review applications. Through my two years of guiding others to master the college application process and continuous learning from a diverse group of students from various schools studying various majors, I am confident that I will be able to guide you toward acceptances into the schools that are right for you.

Prior to each lesson, I conduct careful research into creating a personalized plan for each student. With each lesson comes the dedication, intricacy, and match that you desire and deserve. Each student's consultations are different: with the attention held at how you can achieve your goals with your skillsets and strengths.
Program offerings include, but are not limited to, how to strategize extracurriculars, how to find and apply for scholarships and financial aid, suggestions on courses to take, information about schools that are strong for certain majors, and essay-writing guidance/proofreading.

If there were a Nobel Prize for patience, my daughter's math tutor would already have a trophy case full of them. Chelsea, a mathematical wizard, has somehow managed to make fractions fun, algebra exciting, and word problems… well, slightly less torturous! My daughter, a seasoned negotiator who could probably broker international peace deals, met her match in someone who can outmaneuver her logic and actually get her excited about solving for x.
Not only does Chelsea explain concepts with the clarity of a TED Talk speaker, but she also does it with a sense of humor that makes even long division seem less divisive. Chelsea has the rare ability to turn frustration into curiosity, confusion into confidence, and math-induced sighs into victorious fist pumps.
If you’re looking for someone who can teach, inspire, and—most impressively—make a middle schooler want to do extra practice problems, look no further. Chelsea is an absolute gem, and we’re beyond lucky to have her guiding out daughter through the land of numbers and equations. Highly, highly recommend!Chelsea is a great teacher especially for beginners. She’s patient when teaching and always has something new and exciting planned for each class. We also try to delve into many different styles of dance through choreography or free style exercises. She’s a kind and amazing teacher that I would recommend to anyone!
Chelsea has been tutoring my two daughters (ages 9 and 6) 2 - 3 times a week since COVID started. Throughout this time, she ensures homework is complete, teaches them Mandarin and piano and mixes in art, dancing or other extra-curricular activities. She arrives each day prepared with a set agenda and also instills the importance of behavior, discipline and respect.
I'm particularly impressed as Chelsea does this on top of her normal school and personal commitments. This shows a tremendous amount of energy, organization, time management and discipline.
I'm very happy that Chelsea is a part of my daughters' lives as she is a great role model and embodies all the values a parent can hope for.
I recommend Chelsea without hesitation.View more recommendations
