I'm a Civil Engineering major. I've volunteered with tutoring and helping students in math classes since my freshman year of high school. I've taught a handful of students including my younger sister. Students usually have better understanding after lessons with me.

I would usually start off by explaining the lesson and inform them of multiple ways to find the answers regarding a specific question. Then I will proceed to show answer a few questions and explain step by step, we will continue to proceed to the next step once they have understood the last. Usually, once the student grasp the knowledge, they'll complete a problem on there own with little to no guidance from me.
