About Amira
I have been tutoring on-and-off since my senior year of high school. While in high school, I successfully tutored a classmate to the point where he was able to pass a class he had previously been failing. I also tutored middle school students as a college freshman. I am currently tutoring 3 students at the middle school and high school level in advanced math, Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus.

I am willing to tutor students at any math level up to Calculus I. I tailor my lessons based on what my students need to know. I am willing to work as slowly as a student needs me to and recognize that different methods work better for different students. I use a lot of examples; I'll demonstrate how to solve a problem, then solve a similar problem while testing the students knowledge so far, and then have the student solve it themselves while ensuring they understand all the parts of it.
