About Genevieve
I have been tutoring for 5 years. I graduated from the Colorado School of Mines. I enjoy helping students understand mathematical concepts. Math can be dry, but I try to find practical applications to help motivate students. Math can be fun.

I'm patient, kind and knowledgeable. I like to find the obstacles quickly and overcome them efficiently.
I start by going over the topic then working a variety of examples to help demonstrate the possible approaches to solving said problems.
The most important thing for students to learn is how to learn. I enjoy guiding students to learn the fundamentals of whatever subject they are studying so that they can connect those to other concepts they understand and grow their skills and knowledge from there.
