About Judith
I gave reading and writing lessons while I was attending college while working for the Writing Center and for various Professors as a Teacher's Aid. I have taught many students one on one about creative writing, grammar, and composition, including speech, and I have also taught them in a group setting when there were time constraints, thus affording them to each impart knowledge and lessons on one another. The students under my tutelage have reported back to me with their eventual high marks and their hearty thanks for helping them to understand how to communicate more effectively and efficiently.

I have always had a huge degree of respect for the printed word and fancy myself a wordsmith. I was a Journalism/Business major in High School and my Bachelors of Science degree is in Consumer Affairs and Marketing with a Psychology emphasis. I employ fun and visuals to impart knowledge, using a loose structure, but I like to see results almost right away. My pedagogy involves a casual style, with emphasis on the importance of understanding within context of the lesson. I teach the value of respecting the knowledge over the value of obtaining high test scores and grades.

Perfect! During the six weeks of our stay in Los Angeles, Judy gave my Swiss kids (age 10 and 8) English lessons for beginners. The kids were really happy with Judy, they learned a lot, especially reading and speaking.
Judy is a very motivated, passionate, patient, flexible, reliable and a kind person. I can recommend her 100 percent.- The two children from Switzerland, Lynne- age 10, and Vincent-age 8, were delightful to tutor and fun to be around. They are excellent students and very well-behaved. I was sorry to see them go and I will miss them.JJudith's response :
