About Jerome
My name is Jerome, and I bring over eight years of experience in the technology industry. Throughout my career, I have contributed to a variety of projects and worked with notable organizations such as Manulife and John Hancock. Recently, I co-founded a tech startup, further expanding my expertise in innovative technology solutions. In addition to my industry work, I teach part-time at the college level. I am passionate about coding education because I believe that programming is no longer just the future—it is an essential skill integral to everyday life, alongside mathematics and language arts. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and exploring nature trails with my dogs.

With both college-level teaching experience and a strong background in the tech industry, I’ve designed and delivered coding courses that prepare students to be job-ready. A typical lesson is structured around a core concept, followed by a practical example and a guided coding exercise. I’ve condensed years of post-secondary curriculum into a focused, streamlined program that helps learners break into the tech field faster—without sacrificing depth or clarity. While we cover full-stack development, the program places greater emphasis on backend development, which aligns with the needs of many entry-level software roles today.
