About TIM
I am a college professor. I teach applied math skills along with building construction to my students. Additionally, I have been a swimming and snowboard instructor for many years. Simply put, I love teaching, I have been doing so most of my life, and I take pride in seeing young minds succeed.

As a life long teacher, and someone who struggled with math (and learning) I understand the frustration students can have when they're not "getting it." My sole goal is to work with my students to get them to understand the concepts they are struggling with. I both had a tutor myself for math in grade 5 and had an exceptional grade 10 math teacher who took hours afterschool daily to help students and I credit both for molding my teaching methodology now. I am patient and non-judgmental with all my students, I want them to succeed and I work with them and encourage them until they do.
