About Ernest
After studying theater in New York City I decided to switch my concentration to the pure sciences and discovered a love for Mathematics. I am a senior at Ramapo College of New Jersey planning on attending Graduate School. My interests are in Abstract Algebra, Topology, Number Theory, and Ergodic Theory. I have been tutoring in my hometown of Fairview and the adjacent town of Cliffside Park for almost a decade. I have tutored middle school, high school, and college from topics ranging from basic arithmetic to calculus to competition level mathematics. I am happy to work with all kinds of learning styles

My teaching method involves lots of examples and breaking whatever topic we're discussing down into very small understandable bits. I also enjoy integrating many real world examples so that the student understands the application of the mathematics in real world scenarios.
