About Alessandra
Hello! I am a university professor and currently teach writing to graduate and undergraduate students. I am a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where I received a BA in The Writing Seminars, a creative writing program ranked 2nd only to the University of Iowa. I also received a double major in Film and Media Studies, and pursued extensive coursework in French Cultural Studies. I also hold a Master's degree from The University of Texas at Austin, where I studied screenwriting.

My lessons take a student-centered approach. My tutoring strengths are reading, writing, English, and SAT/ACT prep (especially the verbal and writing sections), as well as film history. I am located in Decatur, GA and am available for virtual and in-person sessions.
