About Emily
I graduated with a Master's of Science in Physiology from Wayne State University and a BS in Biology from Oakland University. Currently, I am an adjunct professor at Oakland Community College teaching anatomy and physiology as well as a lab assistant at Wayne State University. My research experience ranges from neuroscience to hypertension. I have casually tutored in the past, but I have decided that I want to use my knowledge to help students who are struggling. I also want more people to realize that science is not something to dread!

I use examples tailored to the student in order for them to fully grasp each concept. I break down the more complex topics into manageable pieces. I make sure my students understand each topic by asking them to discuss it in their own words. I have a wide variety of study tools for those who have issues with more traditional forms of studying.
