- I believe in the power of writing down information as a way to understand and remember the content. This includes maps, diagrams, etc that help facilitate learning.
- I like to work systematically and understand the value of focusing on and firming up the basics before moving on to more advanced topics. You cant form words until you know the alphabet well!
- I have taken classes on teaching in college that have equipped me with the skills required to create effective syllabi and implement effective teaching methods.
- I'm open to working with all age groups. I love kids and am friendly.t
- I will want to assess the tutee's current level to see where they are at before moving forward with anything. I believe that each individual is different and works differently and so will aim to create a lesson plan that is curated to work on the tutee's strengths as a learner.
- I would like a brief overview of what the student is expected to cover so that I can gauge how effective I will be as a tutor. I'll only take on the responsibility once I know that I can give it my all :)
