About Ali
Whats up guys!
My name is Ali Moghadam, I am a college sophomore enrolled in community college and am really interested in helping others in math and science classes! I've always had a passion for tutoring and helping people like my friends and family with their classes, its an unreal feeling watching someone go from struggling and stressed, to mastering the subject. A little about me I love to lift weights and play basketball, have been playing the sport since I was in 6th grade. I also love watching the NBA and NFL, huge fan of sports, go Kings and Ravens! How I like to help and teach students is through a series of steps in order to make sure the students are really learning, rather than memorizing what I'm saying. Before anything, I like to see what level the student is at, so I can get a feel of what to expect and areas we may need to work on. And then, I'll begin with concepts that the student seems to have a lot of trouble on doing by themselves. I'll explain the material slowly, work through some examples/problems together led by me, and then give some practice problems for the student to try by themselves. Throughout the session, students will also be encouraged to at any point to ask questions and make comments on the work.
