Japanese & French major in my 3rd year. I've been tutoring in English for over 4 years. French for around two. I've taught around 4 people formally, but in high school I would tutor my peers in honors English.
My students usually start receiving better grades but more importantly have a better understanding of the language, native speaker or not.
