About Kyiesha
Hi! I am a second year undergraduate student hoping to go into educational psychology. I have 13 years of experience learning Chinese in China, and 2 years studying it in university. I have an HSK 5 Chinese language certification and have experience tutoring. I am patient, friendly, and openminded. My lessons are open to anyone, regardless of age and background in Chinese.

My teaching is tailored to beginners, and I focus on reading and speaking to increase confidence in these skills and expand vocabulary. I stray away from simple memorization to allow learners to fully understand grammar, sentence structure and apply what they have learned in new contexts.
I focus on the learner's needs and interests by teaching vocabulary related to a variety of different topics and situations. I am extremely flexible and will adjust my lessons to meet learners' language goals.
