College student looking to teach algebra to students in need of help

Methodology

My method is an approach where I allow the student to work through a few concepts so I’m able to fully grasp their math abilities. From there I hone in on areas where they struggle & eventually tie it back to a central idea where they can make connections and use application as a crucial learning tool.

Background

I am a student at Tidewater Community College and will be starting nursing school in August of 2019. I've taken many math/science classes my entire academic career; I've always had a love for both subjects. I've tutored family members and in elementary/middle school for math and I also tutor 4 kids, on a weekly basis in algebra. I have a love for learning and for helping others get the most out of their education. I would love to help any student further their understanding in two of my favorite subjects!
