About Jessica
I have been tutoring my peers in many different math classes since I started high school in 2015 and have continued since entering college. I have a math minor from Florida State University and am currently pursuing two other majors. My students have been successful in scoring better grades in math classes to raise their GPAs, passing college math class entrance exams, and feeling more comfortable in their math classes.

When tutoring, I like to assess the student's math skills by asking them questions about their current math class, how comfortable they feel in their class, and what they feel like they are struggling with or confused about the most. It is very easy to feel overwhelmed in a math class, especially when trying to prepare for college, and I like to make sure my students feel safe and welcome in my classes so that math becomes less stressful and scary. Once I have figured out what level of education the student is at, we can begin working on fundamentals that apply to their homework problems, tests, and college entrance exams. Students can expect guidance through subjects and problems that they are currently working on in their classes at school so that they can feel confident with important assignments and exams.

Details
Cancelled Lessons must still be paid, but make-up lessons are always available. My schedule over the summer is very flexible and if students need to cut lessons in half (decrease in price) or increase time, that may be possible.
