About Kristina
I am an engineering student in Philadelphia. I have also been playing Alto Saxophone for 10 years. Over the years, I have helped 6 people learn the basics of music theory and the mechanics of playing the saxophone. While 2 of my students came from a musical background, the majority had none and were able to play simple pieces in less than 5 lessons.

I approach learning music by first going over the basics. A student should be able to at least read music before picking up a horn. Once the foundation is set, students will learn how to play using a mix of demonstration and individual practice.
