About Iain
I have given private instruction from time to time locally, but I would love to reach out more to the surrounding and online community. I don't like to treat people as students, but rather peers that I can share my knowledge with. The help I have given has been well received by many and has helped others create music or move on to further their own studies.

The material I can teach revolves around the current technology used to create electronic music, including DAWs (your choice, but I specialize in Live, Logic, and Pro Tools), VSTs (Native Instruments and many others), and the equipment you need to successfully create the music and how to use it properly. I can teach production techniques in writing, sound design, and mixing the music you want to make. I can work with you on whatever musical goals you are trying to achieve.
I am currently pursuing a degree in Electronic Production and Design at Berklee College of Music. Previous to now, I have studied electronic music production and performance at Dubspot in NYC and studied recording engineering and mixing at Gat3 in Charlotte, NC. I have been working on my craft for seven years now, and I hope to learn more and more with my time at Berklee.
