About Kristie
Since I was in Elementary school, I have always loved to learn which inspired me to become a teacher. I am now a student at UMass Amherst studying Education and I have spent my time up until now working with children inside and out of school. I want to share my love for learning with students and inspire them to find interests in what they are learning.

My goal for students is to help them understand the material being taught. In math, it is easy to just get the right answer but I want to help students really understand how to get there and why they are learning this. I find that applying math concepts to the real-life interests of students helps them better understand the information.
