About Daniel
I am a college student at Liberty University studying music (I'm taking guitar lessons at the collegiate level myself). I have been playing guitar (acoustic and electric) for 10 years and teaching for 2 years. I have been writing music and touring for 4 years, and have been a session guitar player for 3 years (playing in Nashville and all over the U.S.) I have seen students go from very beginners to advanced guitar players, honing in on the student's passion for music.

Working with beginners, we start with the basics and build upon crucial foundations (like basic guitar theory, forming chords, and transitions between them) to reading chord charts, and then we'll move to different voicing, improvising and soloing over rhythms and melodies. No matter your level of experience, we'll start right where you are and move forward (I can teach beginning and intermediate guitarists). Lessons are focused primarily on understanding the guitar, while learning the context of a guitar within a rhythm section or band.
