About Gina

I am a native German speaker with extensive experience teaching German to learners of different ages, levels, and linguistic backgrounds. In addition to German, I speak English, Slovene, Spanish, and Italian, which allows me to explain complex grammar clearly, anticipate common learning challenges, and adapt my teaching approach to each student’s needs.
My lessons are structured, goal-oriented, and fully personalized. Whether you are learning German for academic study, professional purposes, or personal enrichment, I focus on building a strong foundation, improving accuracy and confidence, and developing practical communication skills. I place great importance on clarity, professionalism, and a supportive learning environment in which students feel encouraged to progress.
I am committed to high teaching standards and to helping every student achieve measurable results.

About the lesson

- My teaching method is communicative language teaching, which means i focus on practical communication skills rather than grammar rules only. Emphasize speaking, listening, reading, and writing in real-life contexts to build confidence and fluency.
I will use my understanding of language learning processes and similarities/differences between German and the other languages I speak to explain concepts and vocabulary efficiently. Warm-up (5-10 min)

- A typical lesson plan: Greet and small talk in German
Review last lesson’s key words or phrases --> Introduction of new vocabulary (theme-based) & practice pronunciation together --> Short dialogue using new words --> Grammar exercises --> Recap new words and grammar --> (Assign of a small homework)

- Being a native German speaker who speaks four additional languages sets me apart because I teach German from both perspectives: as a native and as a language learner which allows me to break down complex grammar, address pronunciation accurately, and plan lessons to how students actually learn.

- Lessons are for beginners to advanced learners (A1–C2), including students, professionals, and adult learners seeking academic support, exam preparation, or real-world German fluency. Lessons are fully adjusted to individual goals and language backgrounds.
