About Courage of link
I am always one for learning new things. Not all things mind you but many. Math, the sciences, and computers have always bin close to my heart. I remember in kindergarten i would race another student to turn assignments the fastest. I have also taught other students and family members in my school if they where having trouble since middle school.
As honesty is the best policy, i will tell you a quick disclaimer about me. I am no professional. I joke around with almost everything I do.
I remember I included inside jokes in my Kinematics presentation to see if my friends would laugh. Whistle while you work is one of the sayings I live by.
When it comes to my personal interests, i am a huge nerd.
I'm into video games, board games, card games, photoshop, video editing, 3d modeling, comics, and wrestling.

My favorite teaching method is to get kids inspired by what I'm teaching so they no longer need me. I've worked with kids that think "math is dumb", "I don't need", and "when am I ever going to use this". But when they realize that what others and I are trying to teach them, it puts the world at their finger tips and the desire to reach for it.
My lessons are for Middle and high school students and i teach mathematics and physics
The lessons are very personal. My first lesson will be trying to get to know them. their strengths, weaknesses, interests, and ways of thinking.
My usual lesson plans can be explained in 4 steps.
Step 1: Introduce
introduce the subject and give brief over view.
Step 2: Connect
Connect the subject of the lesson to the students goals and interests.
Step 3: explain.
actually explain the subject and teach them how to use it.
step 4: summarize
The finishing of the lesson. Fixing loose ends and setting the next lesson.

My rates are negotiable. it depends on the student.
The reason my first lesson is free is so I can meet the kid and then talk with the parents.
