About Julia
Languages are highly required in education and world of work but I believe it should be something to carry on for life, not just to pass in exams or in interviews.
I love languages but also to teach. I'm studying History and Spanish in Trinity College, and my goal is to become a teacher. I do have experience in teaching. I already worked with children, teenagers and adults in private language courses. I can teach Portuguese at any level. I can also teach Spanish and French until Junior Cycle Higher Level. As I completed my Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert in Ireland, I lived the experience of studying foreign language in school and I am confident of what is needed to achieve great results. I also give private lessons of English as second language, from first year in Primary School above.
I have experience in learning languages and also teaching them, therefore I am aware of the challenges one face and how to overcome them.

The lessons are typically online via Google Meeting, of the duration of 1 hour length, however it can be discussed. The methodology will depend on the student's aim, age and level. But for all students there will be a balance for grammar and rules but also practical work, while exploring the world of the language aiming to help the student to enjoy the learning. The lessons include reading, writing, listening and speaking, while focusing on the goal of the student. Therefore, I can assure we will align the lessons for the student to succeed in their goals.
