Amazing tutor!!!!

I cannot recommend Hannah enough! After taking the STAAR practice test in March, my daughter was given a 1% chance of passing the 7th-grade math STAAR test. After working with Hannah for just four weeks, Livvie passed with a 72%!

Hannah was able to take complex, overwhelming mathematics concepts and break them down into simple steps so my daughter could feel confident in understanding the process as opposed to just memorizing the formulas and steps. Understanding the "why" and what the concepts relate to in real life helped it stick! I saw my daughter's math-confidence shoot up after years of decline. Hannah truly amazed me with her ability to help Livvie understand the concepts but even more so to develop her confidence for the test.

I think what was most helpful was the three times a week practice sessions that built upon one another. Hannah took the time to access previous years' STAAR tests and have Livvie complete one with step-by-step help on every single question. Then, Hannah had Livvie complete the second test booklet on her own to see where additional instruction was needed, which Hannah then went through with Livvie to show her where she went wrong and what to do instead.

No remedial STAAR math class for 8th grade and onto pre-algebra! I highly recommend Hannah Lowery as a tutor! We will definitely be calling on her again for help with math.
