About Ke Er

I had volunteered to tutor students who lack the English ability to fully comprehend school assignments throughout my elementary and middle school years. During high school, I also tutored varying subjects (math, science, etc.) after school in our school library as a member of our high school’s National Honor Society Chapter. I grew up in America, so I'm a native speaker of English. I am required to speak Chinese at home, so fluency is also not a problem. Another proof of my Chinese level is that I passed the HSK Level 6 Exam, which means I am capable of attending college in China with no communication problem. I can read, write, converse in both languages, and can teach all the above aspects of the language.

About the lesson

During lessons, I would teach the content and have students review them on their own after class. Previous content will definitely be incorporated into future lessons, so students will retain the knowledge more easily. I teach lessons that are more practical for use in daily life and encourage students to learn smart by focusing on what will be useful for them first. I'm also very open to suggestions from students on which particular topics they would like to cover. I would take suggestions for topics that students want to learn at the end of each class and would prepare to teach those topics in the next lessons. Overall, I deem my teaching very flexible, since education should be flexible and vary for every person.
