About Rachael
I have been playing violin for upwards of 12 years. I have played for North Allegheny's String and Chamber Orchestras during my time as a student there and I currently play for Allegheny College's Civic Symphony and Select Strings ensembles. I have previously instructed violin students during the last four years.

I am open to teaching students from any skill level, from beginner to advanced. I teach out of Essential Elements for Strings, Suzuki Books, and Violin Classics. I will first begin by teaching proper technique and reading music and then progressing to more advanced skills as sessions continue. I expect students to practice in between sessions, and will keep a list of what students should work on for their next session (specific rhythms, segments of a song, etc.).
