About Harmon
As a special education teacher I worked with most areas of special education, for example learning disabilities, behavior issues, mild to moderate mental disabilities, and several others. I taught Civics, English, writing, reading, Basic Science, life skills, social skills, and basic math.
I also have six and a half years as a university professor teaching business classes. Those included Marketing, Management, Business Communications, Sales, and several other classes.

I work with students at all levels of public education. I specialize in working with special needs students in a variety of subjects. When possible I like to work one-on-one with a student. I find this allows me to develop a strong relationship with my students. Once I know the needs of students I would work with, I then determine which method of instruction would work best for that student.
My methodology to teaching is very simple. I believe that any student can learn something. The key is to determine what works and what does't work with a student. I believe that I can make a difference in the lives of the students I work with. This is why I became an educator.
