My method is that first i speak in such a way while teaching that they surely think that this is not a hard subject. Actually first I make there fear turn into smile about maths. Then i teach like how are they getting my point. I understand when they does not understand what am I teaching. Then repeating in some other appropriate way will make them understand more clearly.
