About Arelis
My name is Arelis Figueroa but you can call me Ara.
I was born in Cartagena, Colombia, and worked as a full-time Spanish teacher for more than 12 years.
After teaching for a while, I became a Lawyer and obtained multiple post-graduate degrees including advanced teaching techniques and a Master's Degree in Public Law.
I love reading and am passionate about the Spanish Language and the culture behind it.

Once you sign up, we will start discussing your goals and how would you like your lessons to look: more talking, more listening, grammar-focused, and so on.
My lessons are for all, children and adults as well as beginners and advanced Spanish learners.
Typically we will start reviewing your Spanish level, and what would you like to improve and will mix lessons to tackle every aspect of language learning (speaking, writing, listening, phonetics, and reading).
Each lesson will include a homework review and an everyday topic to build vocabulary and improve language creativity.
