About Maurice
Maurice Buckley is an illustrator and educator. He received his BFA at Alfred University in 2013. Since then he's been teaching art all around New York City, through organizations such as The Art Student's League of New York, and Doing Art Together.
In addition to teaching, he works from home as a freelance artist. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York and is working on his next major projects, 1994 (a Maurice Buckley Sketchbook) and Monkey and Moon comic series.

I have experience teaching children from 5-65. Depending on the subject my approach to teaching can vary. However my go to methods include using slides, presentations, live demonstrations and discussion. Since i have been teaching mostly online the live demos will be done using a drawing software and a drawing tablet, very similar to i-pads utilizing an apple pencil.
