• When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  I did it as a back up to begin with but when I started teaching a class in 2015 for experience, I realised that the ability to teach someone something that they are yearning to learn is one of the best feelings on earth.

• What makes you passionate about your subject?

  The ability to make a change. Speaking English is something we take for granted because we can do it. But for someone who is learning it for the first time, it's an emotional journey. Seeing someone being happy with my teachings makes me happy.

• What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  I think one thing I have learned recently is that I may be teaching but I am also learning. Teaching English helps me interact with my students via conversations that entail stories about their culture, which has been a huge learning for me.

• Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  My music teacher - Mr. Kalandanya - he was very friendly, patient and always willing to bring out the best in his students.

• What are your keys to success?

  Work hard. Nothing comes easy so you have to put in the effort.
