Hey! If you’re here checking my profile, here’s the real deal on me as your potential tutor—no boring lecture energy, promise.

I’m an AB Communications graduate, and I’ve basically spent years living in the world of writing, teaching, and talking to people from different backgrounds. Back in college, I was a literary editor for The Perpetualite (2008–2009), and I also got to write for the Manila Bulletin as a freelance features writer for the Careers & Lifestyle section in 2008—yep, my work was published in a national broadsheet and distributed all over the country, which was a pretty wild experience for a student back then.

Teaching-wise? I’ve handled almost every type of learner you can think of. I started tutoring Filipino international students at Academic Lab in BF Parañaque (2009–2010), then taught Korean students from nursery to high school at World English Language Learning Academy (2010–2011), doing both 1-on-1 and duo classes. In 2012, I taught preschool to middle school students at Eureka Forum, both solo and group setups.

Fast forward, I went online in 2015 as a Business English trainer at Bizmates Inc., teaching Japanese college students and working professionals how to actually use English in real life (not just textbook English). Then in 2016, I became a junior and senior high school learning facilitator under APEC Schools (Ayala Education), part of the first K–12 batch of teachers.

Right now, I run my own events hosting and planning business—so yes, I still talk for a living

So what can you expect in my class? No pressure, no judgment, no “scary teacher energy.” Just clear explanations, real talk, and a vibe where you can actually ask questions without overthinking it. I’ll make sure you get it, and we’ll probably laugh a bit along the way too.

Hey! If you’re looking for a tutor who makes learning feel less like a chore and more like a chill (and sometimes fun) conversation, you might enjoy learning with me.

In our sessions, I’ll help you understand lessons step by step in a simple and easy way—no overwhelming lectures, promise. We’ll start with a quick review, go through the topic together, and then practice it until it makes sense. And don’t worry about making mistakes—that’s totally part of the process here.

I also like to keep things light, so expect a relaxed vibe and a bit of humor along the way. Learning doesn’t have to be serious all the time!
