About Amie

As a communications undergraduate with honors, I am passionate about English Literature and the importance of understanding English Literature in each individual's life. I strive to help individuals attain practical skills in English Literature comprehension. I enjoy working with learners of all ages and abilities and specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals. I approach each session and client with openness, understanding, and a genuine desire to help each client achieve their academic goals.

About the lesson

Lessons are tailored to individual needs, learning styles, and abilities. A typical lesson plan follows a general basic structure. This includes reviewing each client's goals, the assignment or topic being worked on, and each individual's learning styles and challenges. After this step, the subject or assignment will be addressed through an in-depth assessment and review with the client, helping the client better understand topics like literary analysis and understanding different literary genres, periods, and themes, as well as exam preparation. Additional external resources are also offered to clients to help provide support for clients outside of tutoring sessions.
