About Kevin
Imagine standing in front of an audience with the complete physical awareness to project your voice clearly and confidently. My lessons begin with a structured warm-up that targets your specific vocal range and individual needs. Because I have 13 years of experience, I know how to adapt exercises to help you master vibrato control or extend your range without strain. I offer free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes so you can keep practicing at home.
My Bachelor of Music in Education informs the way we tackle pitch control and harmony singing during each session. We focus on the intersection of performance confidence and technical precision, ensuring you have the tools to sing any genre with ease. I find the most joy in watching a student finally nail a difficult phrase through our shared persistence. It is deeply satisfying to help you find your unique sound.

Do you find that singing often feels more like a mechanical struggle than a creative release? I have spent 13 years refining a method that helps students connect their breath to their voice, often utilizing my background as a musician and CELTA qualified instructor.
Having taught 338 students, I have seen how much a patient and encouraging tone can change a performance for the better. My work with newcomer families in Toronto and Vancouver has shown me that music acts as a powerful bridge between cultures and individuals. My degree from the University of Toronto allows me to combine vocal pedagogy with a clear, accessible teaching style that suits hobbyists and advanced performers alike. I often incorporate song-based learning to help students understand phrasing and rhythm in a natural way.
