About Anna
I am an accountant. I tutored Math/Accounting for a few years while taking classes and loved every minute of it. From day one I felt as if I was doing it my whole life. I also briefly worked for a non-profit company. It lasted for short 4 months but I never forgotten that experience as the most rewarding. I have helped people to find financial assistances and discounts they were entitled to. I loved the feeling of becoming someone's trusted guide and I understand the difficulties of living in a foreign country. I was a foreigner once too and ESL classes helped me to fill in the blanks and gain confidence. I would very much like to continue helping people.

First I listen to the way a student speaks, some like receiving a lot of information fast, others like the lesson to be more paced. Then I identify the areas that student needs help with, then I build a lesson plan. I am very patient and enjoy explaining the material, sharing my own experience and generally letting a person know that they are not alone in their struggles and that I am here to help them to achieve whatever goals they have set for themselves.

Details
Please notify a tutor of cancelations 24+ hours in advance before the class to avoid the charges. If a student cancels lesson less than 24 hours prior, they will be charge a regular fee. Exceptions: emergency health situations such as student's illness or illness of a dependent member of the family, bereavement.
